Marble
Marble is an absolutely beautiful natural material that offers unique aesthetics to any kitchen or bath design. There are a wide range of colors to choose from, some offering unusual patterns and veining. Since marble tends to be significantly more porous than granite, it is more likely to stain. Therefore, marble must be sealed regularly to protect the surface from staining; spills should be wiped up immediately, and coasters used when placing glasses on a marble surface.
